Obituary of Michael C. Matthew

Michael C. Matthew, 34, passed away November 23, 2018 in Olympia, Washington.  He was born May 1, 1984 to Scot and Felicia Matthew in Amarillo, Texas.  Michael pursued athletic studies at Centralia Community College, and worked as a commercial painter.  He lived in Yakima, Washington for 15 years, and married Candice Sage in Olympia.

Michael was friendly and funny.  He loved gathering with friends. Most of all, he had the biggest heart for those less fortunate and never stopped giving anything he had to ease the difficulties of others.  He will be remembered for his light and his great love for all life.

Among Michael’s interests were music and building computer and car audio systems.

He is survived by his son, MJ Matthew (six years old); parents; and sisters, Kathleen Gibbens and Christine Matthew.

Services will be announced later. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
