Obituary of Gordon Risley

Gordon Risley passed away November 7, 2018 in Centralia, Washington.  He was born October 31, 1957 to Clyde and Ruth Risley in Aberdeen, Washington. A 25-year resident of Pe Ell, Washington, Gordy also lived in Copalis, Washington, and Dutch Harbor, Alaska.

He graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1976.  Professionally, he was manager of Cardinal Glass for 25 years.  He married Kelly Justice on November 28, 1996 in Reno, Nevada.

Gordy was easy going.  He loved everyone, and everyone loved him.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and wood cutting.  He also loved hanging with friends and family.  He was a member of Pe Ell Sportsman’s Club.

Gordy is survived by his son, Tyler (Jenn) Frazier of Pe Ell; daughter, Krystina (Eric) Wood of Napavine, Washington; mother, Ruth Risley of Copalis; brothers, Al (Rose) Risley of Alaska, and Duane (Ros) Risley of Hoquiam; four grand dogs; and three grand cats.  He was predeceased by his father, Clyde Risley. 

Services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at VFW Hall in Pe Ell. Memorial donations may be made to Pe Ell Ambulance Fund, PO Box 308, Pe Ell, WA 98572.
