Obituary of Joseph P. Stubbings

Joseph P. Stubbings, 68, passed away November 3, 2018 in Olympia, Washington.  He was born October 26, 1950 to Joseph and Theresa Stubbings in Seattle, Washington.  An Olympia-area resident for 42 years, he lived at Brentwood Apartments for 22 years, the Colonial Inn for 2 years, and most recently at Arbor View Adult Family Home for three years.

Joseph worked as a clerk for Washington Labor and Industries from July 1997 to December 29, 2006. He was quiet and reserved, and had a great memory for dates.  He loved watching old westerns and listening to country/western music on the radio each day.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Elaine Stubbings; brother, Randy Stubbings; and sister, Elizabeth Rothamel.  He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Charles Stubbings, Richard Stubbings, and Robert Stubbings.

Services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church, 333 Kaiser Rd. NW, Olympia, WA 98502.
