Obituary of Janice Saari

Janice Saari passed away July 27, 2018 in Olympia, Washington, where she was born October 4, 1961, to Jack and Nita Erskine.  A graduate of Tumwater High School, she worked for the State of Washington for 18 years.  She married her soulmate, Steven Saari, on January 24, 1987.

Janice was fun loving and quick to laugh and share her wit.  She loved shopping and going to the casino with her mother; volunteering for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life; and spending time with her beloved cats.

She is survived by her brothers, Steve (Colleen) Erskine and Greg Erskine; parents-in-law, Albin and Patricia Saari; brothers-in-law, Ken (Sue) Bianchi and Bruce Saari; sisters-in-law, Kath (Dar) Christopherson and Marlene (Mark) Biggs; nieces, Kim, Lisa and Rochelle; nephews, Jason, Cory, Shane, Scott, Tony, Kit, Thomas, Colin and Austin; a large extended family; and close friend, Jeff Olsson.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Nita Erskine; and husband, Steve Saari.
