Obituary of Ila Zoren Pen

Ila Zoren Pen, 67, passed away of cancer on June 11, 2018 in Chehalis, Washington.  She was born August 10, 1950 to Henry C. and Faye D. (Kilborn) Elliott in Aberdeen, Washington.  She lived in Centralia, Washington, for more than 40 years.

 

Ila married Kenneth Marshal Pen in January 1968 in the Centralia Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She was a homemaker, and enjoyed entertaining guests and being around friends and family. She always set aside time to help others. She enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, traveling, and riding Harleys. She also loved her dogs. She was a member of the Winlock Seventh-day Adventist Church.

 

Ila is survived by her sons, Troy S. Pen, Chad T. Pen, and Nathan M. Pen; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Roy Elliott, Mike Elliott, Emery Elliott, and Melvin Elliott; and sisters, Faye M. Palmer, Debra Reed, Deloris Gerard, and Bonnie Allee.  She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth M. Pen; father, Henry C. Elliott; mother, Faye D. Elliott; and brother, Marvin Elliott.

 

A potluck Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 6520 201st Avenue SW, Centralia, WA 98531.
