I knew John from 30 years ago. We played music in his house. I play guitar. I just found out because Dale Hume died. He knows Mike Hume which introduced us. We were the same age. RIP brother. Thanks for the music.

Kristie and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss! We haven't seen you for such a long time, but remember our many times with Johnny Log. He was a good guy, good worker and quite fun.
Our best to all of you,

“Cousin John” you will be missed by the “Miller Kids” . We have so many good memories of you and Krissy letting us hang out at your place and jam when we were kids. Your love for family seemed to always come up in conversation. The same held true at the last family reunion when you and I had a good chat and you expressed how proud you were of your kids and being a grandpa. We will miss you Cousin John. Love to Krissy, Em & Jake and the rest of the Logsdon Family & Friends.

I'm sad to learn of John's passing. What friendly character. He was a longtime friend from grade school and beyond. He worked for Scott Wall Construction back in those early days. Every memory I have of "Johnny Log" makes me smile. I remember being amazed by him on a way-too-late night when he sat down at a piano at the Woodard Bay house and knocked out some boogie-woogie. I hadn't realized at that point that he had that talent among his others. It was a fun surprise. He will be missed. My best to Kristie, another old friend from St. Mikes.

What a pleasure to have known John. The gift of his son Jacob to our daughter, Laurie, is one of John’s greatest gifts. Rest In Peace.
