Obituary of Diana Agnes Brooks

Diana was born on November 15, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Angelo and Mary Sapienza. She lost her battle with cancer on May 31, 2014 at the age of 71 in Olympia, Washington. Diana graduated from West Catholic for Girls High School. She lived in Chesapeake, Virginia, Claymont, Deleware, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before settling in Rainier, Washington for the last 20 years. Diana married Henry J. P. Brooks on December 12, 1964. Together they raised their son, Mitchell, and daughter, Monique. Diana had a range of enjoyments during her life. She was a bookkeeper for Leon Wiener and Assoc. in Delaware and a secretary on Ft. Lewis Army Base in Washington. She loved gardening, canning, movies and entertaining. Diana was a generous and loving person; she had an adventurous spirit and a very kind heart. She was a wonderful authentic Italian cook, renowned for her eggplant parmesan, and loved to host parties. For over 30 years, Diana was a dedicated student at the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. Diana is survived by her son, Mitchell (Michelle) Brooks; daughter, Monique (Adam) Schug; grandchildren, Lucy, Emily and Katy; brother, Danny Sapienza.
