Obituary of Donald E. Bohren

Donald E. Bohren was born November 15, 1929 in Montesano, Washington to Fred and Ida Bohren. He passed away August 24, 2013 in Olympia, Washington. He was drafted into the Army and served from 1953 to 1955. Don then worked at Weyerhaeuser sawmill for 32 years. He married Mary Jo Newman in Rochester, Washington May 18, 1957. She survives at home in Elma, Washington. He is also survived by his children: Dan (Kata) Bohren of Naselle, Dean (Sara) Bohren of Montesano, Daryl (Virginia) Bohren of Tenino, Marsha (Jeff) Burnett of Hoquiam; his grandchildren Allan and Katie Burnett, Brother: Fred (Alice) Bohren of Aberdeen and numerous nieces and nephews. Don enjoyed traveling, clam digging, their place at Lake Nehwatzel, playing pinochle, and trips to the casino. Per Don’s request there will be no service.
